Hello, I’m Liza Makarenko, a passionate fourth-year Computer Animation student at Ringling College of Art and Design. My obsessions would have to be animation and visual storytelling and my lovely cat Vasya

For me, animation is about more than just bringing characters to life; it's about capturing the essence of a performance that connects with audiences. Every movement, gesture, and expression is an opportunity to create memorable moments and give a character’s soul life. Similarly, as a visual artist, I’m inspired by the beauty and complexity of the world around me, from the mood of a place to the subtleties of human expression. My goal is to reflect these details in my work, constantly seeking new ways to bring the richness of everyday life to the screen, while refining my craft to make both the process and the final product equally enjoyable.
